Andalucía / Costa de la Luz (the Coast of Light) ...

Costa de la Luz is the coastline in South West Spain on the Atlantic stretching from Gibraltar to the Portuguese border, in the region of Andalucia.

The climate is ideal for golf, with low humidity and more than 3,000 hours of sunshine per year, the average yearly temperature is around 18ºC.

This coastline borders Huelva Province and Cadiz Province it is in Cadiz Province that Golf Opportunities operates, from Gibraltar in the South to Seville in the North.

The long white sandy beaches are popular with surfers and sailing enthusiasts who enjoy the robust Atlantic waves and cooling breezes.

The coastline of Cadiz Province has not witnessed the high-rise development of the Spanish Costa's and remains a totally unspoilt coastline.

Andalucia / Granada ...

The ancient Moorish town of Granada  is located next to the Sierra Nevada mountains in Andalucia, Southern Spain . It is 70km from the Mediteranean Sea and its situation means that it is possible to go skiing and sunbathe on the beach in the same day.

Granada has a dry heat therefore the best time for golf is in the Spring and Autumn, as in July and August temperatures can reach 40C. During the winter months skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains takes over as the main leisure activity

The Alhambra at Granada was the palace - fortress of the Nasrid Sultans; rulers of the last Spanish Moorish Kingdom and is considered one of the architectural wonders of the ancient world.

All Spanish cities have a vibrant nightlife and Granada is no exception; with excellent restaurants, tapas bars, pubs, discos, flamenco and jazz bars with live performances.
